Savoir Adore
Local Brooklyn band Savoir Adore is a must listen. Their catchy and soothing tunes will capture anyone in the mood for something soft and expressive. Songs like “Mr.P, Professor of Thought” and “We Talk Like Machines” are songs that I would recommend to anyone. My first encounter with this band’s music was last November when I went to see Bishop Allen at the Bowery in Brooklyn. Since I bought my tickets at the last minute, I wasn’t aware of the line-up, something I do not recommend (one should always be aware of the line-up), but when Savoir Adore came on and I heard their set, I immediately knew that I wanted to hear more from this band. I wasted no second thought and got their EP, The Adventures of Mr.Pumpernickel & the Girl with Animals in her Throat.
